With Apple’s new products including the iPhone 17 now available for pre-order, Vodacom said it will be offering the entire range to customers.
The company will be offering the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and AirPods Pro 3.
“With the launch of the new Apple iPhone range, Vodacom customers will be among the first to get their hands on the latest models featuring eSIM capability,” said the operator.

Other mobile operators including MTN, Cell C and Telkom are also expected to offer the Apple range, but pricing is yet to be revealed.
While many people will be eyeing the iPhone Air which Apple is hoping with spike its fledging bottom line, the device is only compatible with an eSim as opposed to a physical sim card.
Vodacom was the first mobile operator in South Africa to introduce the eSIM functionality and support in 2019.

The latest iPhone models were available for pre-order on 12 September 2025, with availability beginning 19 September.
The new Apple Watch lineup and AirPods Pro 3 were also available on 12 September 2025 for customers to pre-order, with availability beginning 19 September 2025.

iStore
Meanwhile, if you are considering getting your new iPhone from the iStore, the company said customers can receive up to R25 000 cash back when trading in their current apple device paid directly into their bank account.
“Customers who pre-order will have up to 30 days after they receive their device to complete a trade-in evaluation and receive cash back,” the iStore said.
“This ensures that iStore’s market-leading trade-in values are available to any customer who pre-orders the new iPhone, whether it be for cash or on their cellular contract.”
The iStore said cellular contracts for iPhone 17 start at only R819 pm.
