
Infinix HOT 60 Series
Infinix and MediaTek have collaborated to bring richer features and enhanced performance to 4G smartphones in Africa, where 4G remains the dominant mobile network technology.
The partnership aims to deliver high-performance, affordable devices, with a specific focus on gaming, content creation, and an improved user experience for the continent’s budget-conscious and youth demographic.
MediaTek Helio G200
Infinix is leveraging the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset in new the HOT series smartphone models to offer what it called smoother gaming, enhanced camera support and improved power efficiency to budget-conscious users.
The MediaTek Helio G200 is a 4G-focused chipset designed for mid-range gaming phones, but its performance is very similar to its predecessor, the Helio G99.

Competition
While it offers key upgrades in camera, connectivity, and power efficiency, its CPU and overall performance are not a major leap forward
IT faces its primary competition from other mid-range chipmakers like Qualcomm and Unisoc, and even from MediaTek’s own more capable chips. Given the G200’s status as a minimal refresh of the older Helio G99, several competitors, especially newer entries from Unisoc, offer more compelling features or performance for a similar price
Smartphones
The MediaTek Helio G200 is featured in the Infinix Hot 60 Pro and Infinix Hot 60 Pro+, two new smartphones available in selected territories across Africa.
The devices features 144Hz AMOLED displays and 45W fast charging,

With its ultra-slim and lightweight body and curved AMOLED display, enhanced 50 MP Sony camera, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ delivers a premium user experience that is stylish, powerful, and made for today’s always-on generation, Ma said.
