Motorola has adorned its Razr 60 and Moto Buds Loop with Swarovski crystals, clearly targeting those who want some sparkle and shine on their tech.
Motorola Mobility, a part of Lenovo, has officially announced the launch of the Motorola Brilliant Collection by Swarovski.
The collection includes the Motorola Razr 60 and the Moto Buds Loop Swarovski Edition.
It will be interesting to see if the new device proves as popular as the old Razr, which captivated users in the country.

Sharay Shams, General Manager of Motorola, Middle East and Africa, said the launch of Motorola’s Brilliant Collection in South Africa is “more than a product launch.”
“It’s a statement of intent. With the Motorola Brillant Collection Swarovski edition and the Razr 60, we’re bringing foldable innovation, premium design, and AI-powered experiences to a market that’s ready for the next evolution in mobile technology.
“Our partnership with Vodacom ensures we deliver not just devices, but complete lifestyle solutions tailored to South African consumers,” Shams said.
Features
According to Motorola, the Razr 60 is finished in Pantone Ice Melt and adorned with 35 Swarovski crystals, including a 26-facet crystal on the hinge and volume keys.
In terms of display, the foldable smartphone has an external 3.6-inch 1,066 x 1,056-pixel AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
When unfolded, the internal AMOLED display measures 6.9 inches and has a 2,640 x 1,080-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Camera
The Motorola Razr 60 features a dual-camera system on the rear, comprising a 50MP primary wide-angle shooter and a 13MP ultrawide sensor.
For selfies, there is a 32MP camera upfront.
Availability
The Motorola Razr 60 is available in a range of Pantone-inspired finishes, including Gibraltar Sea and Spring Bud.
In terms of recommended pricing, you can buy the new foldable outright for R19 999 from Vodacom, or on contract for R899 x 36 or the Motorola Razr 60 which is available at Vodacom for R599 x 36 and includes a free gift of moto buds.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE which is also a foldable device retails for around R22 799.
