As the 2026 Formula 1 season opened in Melbourne, Lego intensified its focus on the high-octane sport with the launch of several new sets.

Earlier this month, Lego introduced the Icons Ferrari F2004 & Michael Schumacher set, paying tribute to the legendary seven-time World Champion and the car that dominated the 2004 season.

Now, Lego has revealed two new helmet display sets based on the 2025 Scuderia Ferrari HP helmets of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. Both sets are available for pre-order and will officially launch on 1 May 2026.

The announcement was celebrated in the Melbourne paddock, where Leclerc and Hamilton posed with life-sized Lego brick-built helmets. These scaled-up builds, crafted from more than 3,500 Lego elements and weighing nearly 3 kg each, faithfully replicate the drivers’ 2025 helmet liveries.

The Lego Editions Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet (886 pieces) features Leclerc’s driver number 16, Scuderia’s prancing horse, and tributes to his father and Jules Bianchi. It also includes a signature plaque and, for the first time, a minifigure of Leclerc — commemorating his 2024 Monaco Grand Prix victory.

The Lego Editions Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet (884 pieces) recreates Hamilton’s iconic helmet with printed decorations, his driver number 44, a signature plaque, and a minifigure of Hamilton in his red Scuderia Ferrari HP racing suit.

John Ho, Model Design Master at the Lego Group, said: “Our team worked passionately to ensure every aspect was captured. Seeing them come to life, in a new scale, in Melbourne in the hands of two of the best drivers in the world is such a proud moment for the whole team.”

Both helmet sets measure 18 cm high, 13 cm deep and 11 cm wide and will retail for R1 799 each. Pre-orders opened on 6 March 2026, with global availability from 1 May 2026.
