McLaren’s Formula 1 team has marked its 1,000th Grand Prix in Monaco with a creative partnership alongside the LEGO Group, unveiling two limited‑edition Lego helmets inspired by drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

The collaboration celebrates McLaren’s racing legacy while blending motorsport design with Lego craftsmanship.

Helmets

The milestone sees both drivers wearing real helmets co‑created with Lego designers, featuring McLaren’s signature papaya orange and the special 1,000th race livery.

Each helmet has been translated into a detailed Lego Editions set, available from 3 June at Lego stores, Lego.com, and the official McLaren Racing Store.

The Oscar Piastri Helmet Set, built from 793 pieces, combines McLaren’s papaya tones with Piastri’s favourite blue and his driver number. It includes a collectible minifigure and a display stand with a printed signature plaque.

The Lando Norris Helmet Set, also 793 pieces, showcases Norris’s fluorescent “blob” design and his new driver number “1,” with organic shapes and celebratory livery details.

Partnership

McLaren Racing’s chief marketing Officer, Louise McEwen, said the teams partnership with the Lego Group is rooted in a shared commitment to creativity, innovation and inspiring the next generation of fans.

“Seeing our drivers’ helmet designs reimagined through Lego creativity and then brought to life on the track at Monaco is a powerful expression of what we can achieve together.”

Julia Goldin, chief product and marketing Officer at the Lego Group, added that with a partnership spanning over a decade, they are excited to bring the power of creativity to the historic celebration of McLaren Racing’s 1000th Race.

“It’s been a true co‑creation process, where our Lego design team worked closely with the drivers and McLaren Racing to develop these special helmet products.

Monaco

Daniel Meehan, Creative Lead for Lego F1, said “We worked closely with Lando and Oscar on creating their helmets for fans to build and display at home. They had some great ideas, which we cannot wait for fans to discover when building the sets.”

As Norris and Piastri take to the track in Monaco wearing their Lego‑inspired helmets, fans can join the celebration by building their own miniature versions — a tribute to McLaren’s enduring innovation and its 1,000‑race milestone.
