Acer Africa has launched a new projector campaign aimed at transforming living rooms into immersive fan zones as South Africa gears up for a winter of high‑stakes international football.

Running until 19 July 2026, the initiative offers households a cinematic alternative to traditional television, with Acer partnering leading retailers including Shop Acer, FNB, Takealot, and Makro.

The campaign features a tiered reward structure designed to add value to every qualifying purchase.

Customers buying premium projectors will receive a Google AiTV box for seamless streaming, while mid‑tier models come with an Acer speaker to boost match‑day atmosphere.

Entry‑level purchases include selected peripherals such as earbuds or a mouse, ensuring every buyer gets a match‑day upgrade.

Acer’s 2026 projector lineup has been engineered with sports fans in mind. The Acer X1328Wi introduces a dedicated “Football Mode” to sharpen pitch detail and enhance clarity, alongside wireless projection for cable‑free convenience.

Larger rooms

For larger rooms with ambient light, the Acer H6546Ki delivers 5,200 Lumens of brightness, ensuring vibrant images even during daylight kick‑offs.

At the top end, the PD1810ic and P5827a offer 4K UHD resolution, capturing every detail in cinematic clarity. Portable options such as the PD1520s and AOPEN QH15s allow fans to move the game from lounge to patio with ease.

“Major sporting tournaments create a rare sense of shared occasion, and the quality of the viewing experience plays an important role in how those moments are enjoyed,” said Riaad Mangera, Product Business Unit Lead at Acer Africa.

“With this campaign, Acer South Africa is helping customers elevate their setup through a broad range, supported by meaningful added value.”

‘Score Big’

The “Score Big” campaign is available at participating retailers while stocks last. Rewards are allocated based on the specific model purchased, with customers advised to check terms and claim details directly with their preferred retailer.
