Meta launches Muse Image.
Tech giant Meta has unveiled Muse Image, its first image generation model from Meta Superintelligence Labs, now available in Meta AI.
Building on the reasoning capabilities of Muse Spark, Muse Image acts as a creative partner, turning everyday ideas into high‑quality visuals that can be downloaded, shared, or posted directly to feeds, stories, and chats.
AI
The model introduces advanced tools across Meta’s platforms. Instagram users gain more than 30 new AI‑powered story effects, while WhatsApp users can generate images in direct chats with Meta AI.
Rollout to Facebook, Messenger, and advertisers via Advantage+ creative is planned in the coming months.
Prompts
Muse Image allows users to describe what they want in natural language. It can mock up a selfie in front of a landmark, erase unwanted background elements, or even generate functional QR codes.
Text renders cleanly inside visuals, enabling legible infographics, guides, or styled captions.

Presets
To spark creativity, Meta AI now offers a presets panel with suggested prompts. With one tap, users can restore old family photos, try trending hairstyles, or reimagine themselves as claymation figures or 16‑bit game characters.
Creations can be shared so friends can apply the same presets to their own images.
Redesigns
Muse Image also supports room redesigns with real products from Facebook Marketplace, letting users preview décor styles or trending looks.
By @‑mentioning Instagram accounts, creators can pull public photos into collaborative designs, with privacy controls to disable tagging if desired.
Editing
Users can sketch or annotate changes directly on images, with Meta AI remembering context to refine styles or add elements without restarting.
What’s Next
Meta plans to expand Muse Image globally and integrate it deeper into its apps.
“Muse Image demonstrates how AI can think through prompts, blend references, and deliver visuals that match your vision,” the company said.
With Muse Video already in development, Meta is positioning its AI tools as the next step toward personal superintelligence.
