Oakley
The agreement will see Oakley products used by Springbok teams in training and competition. It also extends into lifestyle spaces, with SA Rugby noting the partnership’s relevance beyond the field.
Oakley has positioned its eyewear at the intersection of sport and culture, and SA Rugby sees the collaboration as a way to connect authentically with supporters at home and abroad.
Springboks
Luca Magni, Head of Performance Sports Marketing at Oakley, said the Springboks represent more than sporting achievement.
“The Springboks are more than a team. They are a symbol of identity, unity and cultural pride that transcends the game of rugby. At Oakley, we’re drawn to athletes and teams who shape sport beyond performance, influencing how it’s seen, felt and lived.
“This partnership is about celebrating that impact and building something that connects sport, culture and community in a meaningful way,” he said.
The partnership positions Oakley as the official eyewear supplier to the Springboks, while SA Rugby emphasises its intent to strengthen ties between performance, identity and community.
